• Three FMS cases will be provided to SANG today for their acceptance and
signature. These cases are:
oo Foreign ammunition (offshore procurement)-, 14 lines, $167.OM
oo Foreign weapons (offshore procurement); 5 lines, $16.0,14
oo Night Vision Goggles (commercial); 1,941 each, $14.CK
• Additionally, four members of a STINGER MTT will depart on 11 Oct from Fort
Bliss to Saudi Arabia to support the SANG. They will be augmented with
three members in country to make up a seven-.nan team.

o Ammtmition ship Green Harbor left Sunnypoint on 8 Oct 90 and is enroute to
SWA.

• Scheduled outage at Tobyhanna for tminterruptible power supply has been
completed.
oo Down from 6 to 8 Oct.
oo Effected Tobyhan-aa and Seneca Army Depots.
• Date Processing installation at Jefferson PG is operational.
oo This outage only effected Jefferson users.
oo Vainframe down at 2200 hours local 6 Oct.
oo All nodes were op at 0300 hours local 8 Oct.

oo Potential benefits and applications to DESERT SHIELD under discussion
with AMC FQ staff.
oo Bistatic radars offer potential for improved survivability based upon
passive radar detection.
