                                  X. COMMUL41CATIONS EOUIPMENT.


              1. General. Communications equipment generally does not pose a
              significant problem in terms of destruction.

              2. Destruction of communications equipment using-gonventional
              munitions. Place a thermite grenade on top of the commo
              equipment. Stack equipment to get more damage per grenade.

              3. Destruction of communications equipment using non conventional_
              methods.

                  a.  Burn equipment using diesel fuel/oil mixture.

                  b.  Use small arms to damage equipment.

                  C.  Smash equipment with axes, hammers or similar tools.

                  d.  Run over equipment with a vehicle.

                  e.  immerse equipment in water. Turn radio on and remove
              covers before immersing equipment.
