Platoons from approximately a three hour drive away. The theater

corps cage and general Support @:,--Ir-p MP iir,.its wei-e +,:. the front ::-f
the D-rpa@-. Thi-@- prohibited the forward m.-.vernent of the 545th MP
1-@-.fnpany (-) from moving .:!,--,set- to the Division Main and l@lanliev.@Rr-
brigades.
The 545th MP Company rn,-,,.,,ed forward 4,:. an area west :.f Hafat-
al Eaten just days bef,-,t-e the g,-,--L-nd war began. Once aoair. all
MF' platoons of the 545th -are committed to some sort of base
defense with. 3/545th platc,or, being the only Platoon fle>,.ible
enough to pull -a team or two for general support missions.
A concerted effort between the 545th MF' CO, and the 59th MP
CO., assured the smooth movement --,f the lst C:av Division from the
Tactical Assembly Areas to RCIM sites, and eleven various
breech sites through the Iy-ac;@ b,---@.-::ier.-and rnine fields, and on to
battle positions.
Once in Position tne lst, 2nd, 4th and '--th platoons
supported their respective elements.
The Provost Ma@-shal. Company -.-commander and three teams from
