                                                                            24?=

           1. The OD green overgarment can only be worn 14 days in an
           uncontaminated environment. 0
will protect for six (6) hours. The CPOG cannot be extended
           after the 14 days.
           2. The BDO have a wear life in an uncontaminated environmentbp/4.S
           of twenty-two (22) days with twenty-four (24) hours
protection upon contamination. The twenty-two days can be
extended to thirty (30) days. Extension is based on if the
BDO had not been exposed to continual POL vapors or excessive
mud, dirt or saturated by water.

           3. Based on XVII ABN CORPS guidance, the wear life is
counted only when you wear the BDO. If you wear the BDO for
one to ten hours, it counts as one day. Put it away for ten
days, then put '-t back on for two hours, that is considered a
total of two days out of the twenty-two days, not twelve
           days.

           4. CPOG or SDO, if contaminated should be burred or
coordinate with SN S-4 for disposal.

to SFC Viera, BN NBC NCO.
