                             Battalion, Fort George G. Meade 20755

            SUBJECT: Mission Training Guidance


            1. Recently I instructed all commanders to increase NBC
            training in their units in support 0-F the upcoming deployment
            to Saudi Arabia. Effective immediately, I want you to provide
            a short verbal summary of NBC training conducted during the
            duty day, as well as any training planned over the next
            twenty four hour period, at staff call (437th MP Co. should
            provide this information telephonically). I cannot over
            emphasize the importance of the need for this training.

            2. Additionally, IAW guidance received from 16th MP SDE,
            units will initiate training on the following tasks (19-77-
            10-MTP):

                   Monitor  MP Response to Base/Base Cluster Defense
                 0014).

                   Coordinate and Monitor a Combat Patrol (29-2-0010)-

                   Plan, Coordinate, and Monitor Area/Zone

                   Coordinate and Monitor a Battle Handoff to a Tactical
                   Force (29-2-0016)-

                   C onduct Area/Zone Reconnaissance (19-3-0006).

                h. Conduct  Base/Base Cluster Coordination/Defense (19-3-
            0022).
