    SUBJECT: Turn in of Class Vill Materiel +or Redeploying Units,
                  VII Corps



    1. Reference a. COMUSARCENT message 1217(.)(')Z MRrch 1991, Subject:
    Redeployment of DEPMEDS, Conventional and MUST Equipped
    Hospitals, and Non-Hospital :Iedical Units.

    b. COMUSARCENT Operations Plan for Redeployment, 4 March 1991.

    C. MEMORANDUM, 428th MEDSO.M, - March 1991, Subject: Letter of
    instruction for the Turn in of Medical Materiel.

    d. MEMORANDUM, 4-@Bth MEDSOM, 16 March 1991, subject: Update to
    4'Bth MEDSOM LOIs on Turn in and Destruction of Medical Materiel.


    2. Active duty units will redeploy with condition code "A" Cass
    Vill SLiPPIIeS,. Units should endeavor to redeploy with complete
    Class Vill Unit Basic Load (UBL) and complete Sets, Kits and
    Outfits (S@,O). Coord,-iation between medical supply customers and
    the 4@'8th MEDSOM will be made to complete sets and UBL and to
    turn in excess materiel.    Materiel less than unit of Issue Pack
    will not be turned in.


        DEPMEDS units will follow instructions issued by G4, 37@nd
    @.L,dical Brigade concerning turn in of all DEPMEDS supplies and
    equipment.

    @. All VII Corps units will turn in the following items tiroltqh
    tne Class Vill Support system to the 428th MEDSOM prior to
    redeployment:
