                    b. The reach pendants CQ tip) were an absolute must for the
               mission. This device gives the hc3ok-up-person an additional four
               feet when hooking the load to the helicopter. Our C Battery, 5-Sth
               FAR -From Ft. Campbell, Ky brought two pendants with them. The
               101st has several more.in country. The 5-eth FAR has ordered
               additional for their use, and we will consider buying more far our
               other elements.

                    c. The unit selected.a hard area for the PZ, but there was
               still a 'considerable amount a-F. blown-dust. Most of the dust was
               caused when the CH47D set down to pick up the PAX. In the
               future, the unit will select a PZ -For-PAX a c:onsidL-rabIL- distance
               (SOO to 800 meters) from the external load site.

               5. The pilots/crew -For the-mission were-CW2.Drebber, CW2 Champaign
               and CW3 Lang. They were very willing to conduct the test and
               offered several helpful suggestions. We appreciate their help.

               6. We will submit a block 11 lesson learned an this mission. The
               POC is MAJ Rambus, 9.3. 5-Sth PAR.
