h. (U) CONCEPT OF LOGISTICAL SUPPORT.
1. Phase I (Logistics Buildup). lst COSCOM supports
the Corps main effort by prepositioning supplies. lst COSCOM will
assist in positioning theater stocks and medical facilities
initially at LOOBASE Bravo to support buildup operations and is
prepared to position OS stocks in LOGBASE CHARLIE (MT 1543).
607th Corps Support Group (CSG) will establish and operate LOOBASE
CHARLIE. 330th MCC will control the tasking and movement of the
COSCOM's common-use assets allocated to this phase. CSOG will
provide common@use assets as taaked by the MCC. Support
hield 1 remain in
effect. CSOA identify transportation needs and pass requirements
to the 330th MCC to support their movement to the AA.
2. VP Phase II (Force Repositioning). 507th CSG will
establish and operate LOGBASE CHARLIE; 2d/4th MMC will identify
and release the stocks, request transportation assets for movement
of the stocks. and provide a Materiel Management Team to assist
the 507th CSO. 330th MCC will provide MSR control (ICW SUPCOM MCA)
and tasking for common-uge assets to support the movement of
stocks. CSGs and medical units move by echelonment to ingure
continuous support. CSOG position in Assembly Areag'to provide
mustainment support as follows: 46th CSO vic AO WALNUT, AO PLUM,
and 553 CSB vic AO CACTUS; 171st CSO vic AO TEAK; 101st CSG vic AO
PEAR. CSOA support the austainment of the Corps in the AA.
