In addition, the establishment of an equipment/personnel
decontamination site was the responsibility of the Group.
The Group also provided guidance to the MODA and SANG
hospitals on establishment and control of the "hot lines" at their
patient decontamination sites.
The MODA hospital had an elaborate site which was "mirrored"
in style. The SANG hospital had a decon site available to handle
only a limited number of casualties.
In addition to the above, planning, coordination, and guidance
was provided to subordinate unit hospitals concerning those
contaminated patients regulated into KKIA. (See exhibit 14)
And of course, (CDM) Chemical Downwind Messages were
disseminated daily to all subordinate units.
