            1. INTRODUCTION

                 The within document represents the second and f inal feeder
            report covering the 244th Medical Group's significant activities
            from 17 January 1991 to 17 March 1991 in support of operation
            Desert storm.

                 This report has been divided into five (5) major segments:
                     1.  Personnel
                     2.  Intelligence/ope rations
                     3.  Logistics
                     4.  Commanders Comments
                     5.  Command Sergeant Major's Comments

                 Relevant data has been identified as numbered exhibits and are
            either attached or made reference to by separate listing.

                 In addition, a separate "Commanders Comments" section sets
            forth those items as mandated by paragraph 9-2C(3), ARS70-5,
            including important lessons learned.

                 A Command Sergeant Major's section has been included to
            present those command issues dealt with at the highest enlisted
            levels.

                 Comments on adequacies/inadequacies of doctrine have been
            integrated within each portion of this report.

                 A summary of significant events and achievements in the
            war/transition to redeployment and demobilization phase concludes
            this report.
