                               DISCUSSION:


                                 Lack of personnel and equipment

                               dedicated for patient decontamination.

                               * Lack of protective masks for patients.

                               * Lack of DEPMEDS ECU turnoff switch.


                               RECOMMENDATION:


                               * MTOE changes in hospitals to include SSIs

                               in the NBC profession. TOE changes to

                               include decontamination sets, CAM detectors,

                               lights and generators +or night time

                               decontamination.


                                 Allow hospitals to maintain 15% more

                               protective masks than authorized to protect

                               patients.

                               * Develop DEPMEDS ECU turnoff switch inside


                               temper.
