            SUBJECT: South LOC Veterinary Meeting/Trip Report



            1. Attendees:

            2. Changes of location/Date of Change/new phone

                a. Theater:       248th Med Det Torres Saunders is rear
            equipment party left behind up to 2 weeks.

                 b- EAC 483rd: SSG Neal to M&M yesterday from Kuwait;
            @.',PC Wright, SPC Wrage, CPT Scott, MAJ Nye are departing
            April 9 with 6SS Blood Bank Landstukl, FRG; Lacour has ETS
            -@,3 Feb 91 so need to process DA Form 4187 requesting release
            based on mission needs. Kidwell, Hanson, Mabry, will fly
            out April 22nd with 62nd Med Group. Their equipment
            shipload is on 7 June 91. SGT Hanson may stay until then,
            take care of equipment processing, help 483rd.

            3. Required changes of coverage in area Veterinary Support.
            a. Warehouse #34 Air Force needs more inspectors.
            b. Some Air Force operational rations going forward for
            humanitarian reasons to Iraq and Africa so additional
            inspection may be required before release.
 Port container yard have never been
            inspected.

            4. Changes in DOG SITREP/MWD Information.
            a. Still have 6 marine dogs - 4 have health certificates
            and will leave shortly, but last 2 may be staying longer
            term.
            b. 400 ibs of Eukanuba from Marines needs to go to Shak Isa
            since they were planning on leaving and didn't order more
            dog food.
            0.   Shak Isa Air Force dogs on indefinite hold in place-
            d.   7 dogs still at Dhahran Airbase.
            e.     dogs from 18th ABC departed this week for CONUS.
