   THIS REPORT COVERS THE LOCAL AREA


   PART I LOGISTICS ASSESSMENT: The lack of adequate supply channels
   for Class VII and Class IX parts continues to present a major problem
   for this brigade. PLLs ASLs are being depleted without adequate
   resupply. Critically short are loop modem cards for the remote
   multiplex combiner and the remote loop group multipILxer. In
   addition, we are short on digital non-sl-cure voice telephones (TA
   954), desert camouflage setsg mast AB 621AS, and distribution boxes.
   MTOE inadequacies are being addressed at the Battalion level. it
   appears that repair parts are being shipped. Presently we are in the
   process of coordinating a smooth flow through the supply channels.
   Shipping and receiving points are being contacted. Phone calls to
   CONUS reveal that parts are in fact being shipped. We are still
   trying to find out who has them or what happened to them. The 565th
   does have parts ind they ire being picked up daily.
