                            (4) Medical supplies may, oix request and when the
                    situation permits, be provided to allied forces (STANAG 2128).

                            (5) Units operating in a division area will receive
                    medical supply support from the medical supply office, nonmally
                    located w3.th the d3.v3.sion macucal battal3.on           3.n the
                    division support area.

                            (6) Urdts of the 2-2,58 AV in the corps rear will receive
                    medical supply      rt, on an nrea basis, frm the nearest corps
                    hospital.

                            (7) Spectacles:

                                  (a) Will be provided by the Optometry seation of the
                    divisional medical battalion for units in the divisional area.

                                  (b) Will be provided by medical unit providing unit
                    level madica3. support wh3.ch will forward prescriptions to the
                               @cal fabrication act3.V3.tY

                        E. Preventive medicine:

                            (1) Particular attention will be given to:

                                  (a) mess sanitation (FM 21-10)

                                  (b)      nal @ene (FM 21-10)

                                  (c) Timely indoctrination of all persormel in
                    p@tive measures for cold and heat injuries (FX 21-10, FM
                    31-70, TB MED 81, TB NED 175).

                                  (d) Insect and       t oontrol (FM 21-10)

                                  (e) Control of ocmmmicable di@ (FM 21-10, AR
                    40-5).

                                  (f) Maintenance of        zation (AR 40-562).

     (g) occupational Health (AR 40-5).

                                  (h) waste Disposal (FM 21-20).

                            (2) Field sanitation teams will be organized IAN AR 40-5
                    in all          sized mdts and will maintain a prescribed load of
                    suipplies.
