                      Movement to and Consolidation of PL SI'ROHS

                The DIVAR-VY movement to PL Strohs actually began on G-
             day, 24 Feb. Following the final artillery raid and      SEAD
             fired in Support of the Divisional CAB's AH-64
             reconnaissance in force north of the berm in the early
             afternoon hours of the 4-tti by 3-82 FA and A/2i F'(4,
             DIV@)R-1-Y radars, MLRS, and 155mm assets were positioned Lo
             support 2nd Brigade's armed recon of the enemy area north
             of its sector.     This fire support package continued
             northward until the decision was made shortly before 13L40
             on 5 Feb that the 2nd Brigade penetration should stop at
             about the 32 east-west gridline; and that 2nd Brigade
             would begin its withdrawal to an assembly area south of
             the berm.


                Early on the morning of 26 Feb, DIVARTY received word
             that the Division would in fact pass thi-oltqh the prepared
             IID breach site. The DS battalions prepared to move with
             their supported brigades. Because of the foreseeable
             distances and rapid movement that were to follow, A/21@s
             IYILIRS battery, the Q36 & 037 -f-.%dir sections, is well as the
             metro sections were tisk organized at that time to move
             with and support the two maneuver brigades.

                The DIVARTY command tnd control cell departed from its
             position (PS 15485V') just prior to 130'Zl hrs on 26 Feb 91,
             in order to follow 2nd Brigade through the brexch. Some
             12 hours later, DIVAR'L-Y was through the breich and enrolkte
             to its initial position on lv,,Aqi soil, closing At I\IT
             c)51-)6@)9 (Obective Lee) with all vehicles and equipment by
approximately 0430, 27 Feb 91.

               . Two hours later, the DIVfiRI-Y TOC was apain on the
             move--departing Objective Lee enroute to Objective R@ileigh
             at r,U 5930. While DIVAR-ry was on the road, two i@lLRS
             batteries from 1-158 FA of the Oklahomx NationAl Guard
             were placed Linder Our operational control and given
             instructions to link up--with one battery GSR to each of
             the two DS battalions. A/21 was held as the Division's GS
             MLRS unit.
