            forces. Bde prepares to defend/coLtntcrattack o/o.

                ,@'O JAN: Bde TPC and i-3 Ptk Hel Bn displaced to Al
            Quasumah airfield. Brigade Commander directs bde 'TAC to
            resume taking NAPP pills.

                2i JAN: DMAIN directs MOPP Level I (012V' hrs). MOPP
            Level 0 directed at 0505 hrs; stop taking NAPP pills.
            Received operations overlays for OPLAN Woods.

                22 JAN: Iraqi forces reportedly moving south. 1-3 Atk
            Hel Byi launched recon from Al Duasumah to determine if
            Iraqis have seized buildings in the vicinity. D'TAC sends
            an o/o mission for OH58D team to conduct point recon vie
            NT 94V'240. OH'@8D team launched at 1400 hrs on recon
            mission. Received report of aircraft mishap involving AHI
            belonging to 1-7 CAV; sent safety officer to investigate.
            Brigade Commander reports that 1-7 CAV has sent aircraft
            to cover Special,Forces troops recovering Iraqi deserters.
            101st Airborne sends two UH60's to assist.

            and issue of Modula@- Thermal Imaging System (MTIS); Avn
            bde would draw one system. Received update on 3ACR
            fi@,efight, EPW's and Iraqi deserters.

                24 JAN: Received Ist Cav Warning Order #3-91 (Ist C,@v
            establishes a screen along the Kuwaiti border). Received
            Ist Cav Warning Order #4-91 (movement of the lst Cav
            Division). Prepare to move north on 26 JAN.

                25 JAN: Brigade TOC displaced to Al ()uasumah airfield.
            Expect revised movement guidance in Warning Order #10-91.
            Units will conduct reconnaissance upon G-3 confirmation of
nits
            (coordinates given). Alerted to possible Iraqi spoiling
            attack based on intelligence indicators. Sources say Iraqi
            AD(4 will be weapons tight from 1615-1645 and i7lS-l745 for
            high altitude aircraft. Expecting Iraqi aviation assets
            to launch attack. Stinger teams alerted.

                26 JANG Received ist Cav FRABOs #91-11 (2/66 CML Co DS
            to 2d Bde), #91-12 (Artillery Raid) and #91-13 (llth Rvn
            Bde Feint). Avn bde supports FRAGO #91-12 by assisting
            DIVARTY units in breaking contact. Avn bde would provide
            limited Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR), emplace i
