            reoccupy defensive positions. Units have been holding in
            i@AEtger sites south of defensive positions during movement
            of the Syrian 9th AD. 'The movement roLt,(-,e of the Syrians is
            farther north Lhan first planned.

                      1214: Syrians complete movement of approximately
            one brigade.

                  24 Jan
                      0534: Informed by D-FAC that the Syyiin 9th AD
            will complete movement across the division front today.
                      2015. TF 3-32 investigates suspicious civilians
            vicinity their positions.
                      2359. -rF 2-5 investigates seven suspicious
            civilians vicinity their positions.

                  25 Jan
                      1325. D'I'AC approves reconnaissance of the new
            defensive sector. The recon parties are limited to two
            vehicles per battalion.
                      154e,: DTAC warns the brigade of a possible ly,aqi
            air attack beginning at 1545 hours. The warning is based
            on communications intercepts which later prove to be
            false.


                  26 Jin
                      1000. The brigade begins movement north to new
            defensive positions.
                  1319: All units are closed in new defensive
            positions with the FEBA i@S839995 to NS992997 to PS139993.
