         * 0730   Three soldiers were reported struck by lightning, two
         soldiers from 9th EN and one soldier from 2-34 AR. Verfiied that
         only two soldiers were struck by lightning, both from 9th EN.
         Both soldiers were medevaced. One soldier was in serious, but
         stable condition, and the other soldier was in serious, but good
         condition. Both soldiers were in a fighting position at Stand
         To. One soldier was on the radio, and the other soldier was
         standing beside him. One soldier was revived by CPR. The 2-34
         AR soldier that was reportedly struck by lightning was checked
         out by medics and found to be unhurt.

         * 2122 - Received message from G-3 (CPT Rainford). All recon
         movement west of Wadi Al Batin is suspended. CG, VII Corps, is
         worried that there is too much movement in that area and that it
         well give away the deception plan.

         * 2225 - Danger X-Ray announced "SCUD launched, OUT!" Called
         Danger, and the SCUD is heading for the eastern coast of Saudi
         Arabia.

         * 1-4 CAV place in BSA

         * Stay behind equipment? - Put in milvan, DISCOM will find a
         place to hold them

         * Five'each ACEs to 1-4 CAV

         * MICLIC firing PS 436450
