             5. CHEMICAL-DEFENSIVE-OPERATIONS,

                  a. Higher, lower, and adjacent units which may be affected
             by an attack will be advised as soon as possible.

                  b. Within the headquarters each staff section will be
             notified by telephone of the attack.

                  C. Upon notification that Scud Missiles have been launched
             or have impacted, all personnel will assume MOPP level 4.

                  d. Headquarters Commandant will:

                        (1). Ensure that the air conditioning system for the
             Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) build ng is turned off
             immediately upon notification.

                        (2). Coordinate with RSLF building security to ensure
             that any personnel who enter the building are confined to the
             ground floor.

                  e. Headquarters and Headquarters Company Commander will:

                        (1). Ensure that all sleeping personnel are awakened
             and warned.

                        (2). Assemble company detection and decontamination
             teams.


                        (3). Ensure that all chemical agent alarms are
             operating.

                        (4). If no agent is detected within one hour initiate
             unmasking procedures. Notify G-3 Operations of results.

                  f. G-3 Operations will inform subordinate/attached units
             and all staff sections when it is safe to resume a lower MOPP
             level.


             6. REPORTS.

                  a.    Subordinate/attached units and all staff sections will
             report when all personnel have assumed MOPP 4, to 0-3
             Operations.

                  b.    HHC will report any detection of chemical agent to G-3
             Operations.
