           ANNEX N (Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical operations) to 3ID
           CONPLAN 4285-90 (U)




                   (3) (U) Units will deploy with required Nerve Agent
           Antidote Kits NAAK (3 per individual) and Pyridostigmine Bromide
           (PB) tablets (1 package of 10 per 5 individuals) that are
           currently on hand.

                   (4) (U) Units will not issue Nerve Agent Antidote Kits
           (NAAK) or Pyridostigmine Bromide (PB) tablets to individuals until
           arrival in Area of Operations.

                   (5) (U) Units will deploy with the Nerve Agent Antidote
           Kits and PB tablets that they currently have on hand.

                   (6) (U) Decontaminants will be transported IAW safety
           and movement directives/regulations.

                   (7) (U) Individuals will deploy with all Individual
           Chemical Equipment (ICE) materials identified in USAREUR Reg 50-3.

                   (8) (U) Individuals will replace mask components
           (filters/canisters/hoods) prior to departure from home station.
           Mask serviceability inspections will be conducted upon arrival in
           Area of Operations.

                   (9) (U) Units will conduct individual and unit level
           chemical refresher training as identified in AR 350-42. To
           facilitate in-country sustainment training, individuals will
           deploy with one training set of chemical protective overgarments.

                   (10) (U) Units will assure, as a minimum, that all
           soldiers know proper masking procedure, self-aid/buddy aid
           procedure, use of chemical detection equipment and knowledgeable
           of the NBC annex of the unit SOP.

           4. (u) Service support. Request for Chemical Defense Equipment
           (CDE) resupply will be processed through normal supply channels.
