                  a. (U) Concept of the Operation:

                            (1) (U) Medical units within the division will
            provide Health Service Support (HSS) to save the lives of
            soldiers and conserve the fighting strength IID(M), attached or
            DS elements and all forces passing through LID(M).

                             (2) ..(U) Insert this FRAGO as Appendix 12
            (MEDICAL OPERATIONS) to Annex N (SERVICE SUPPORT) to IID(M) OPORD
            SCORPION DANGER.
                  b.  00   Operational Phases:
                  (1)   (U) PHASE I: Complete
                  (2) a= PHASE ri: Move and occupy defensive sectors and
            attack position.

                        (a) (U) Organic medical elements provide medical
            Coverage for 1ID(M) and supporting units during movement to PHASE
            II positi-on5. Corps air ambulance assets provide on-call air
            evacuation. Corps ground ambulances co-located with division
            medical companies provide evacuation from division to corps
            medical facilities (See Tab A, Corps Medical Task Organization).
                        (b) to Prior to (3 - 13, 127th Medical Group
            establishes Combat Support Hospitals (CSH); the 128th and 403rd
            CSH vic NS595885 and Slst and 377th CSH via of NS630770. Two
          platoons -From 142nd Medical Company (Clearing) will co-locate
            with the 128th and 403rd CSHS. Two platoons from 209 Medical
            Company (Clearing) will co-locate with 31st and 377th CSHS.
            These clearing companies will triage and stabilize casualties
            evacuated to the CSHs by ground or air.
