            1. Daily Commander SITREP:

                a. Situation: HQ, 7th Engineer Brigade has completed its
            move to the FAA.


                b. Operationg/Tng. Combat battalions continue to make final
            combat checks for personnel and equipment. Engineer group effort
            includes MSRS, s-,irvivab 41,'@y, C130 A,r7Pield, hospital -support,
            and forward --tockage of gravel for use during and after the
            breach.

                h. Problems Requiring      Corps Assistance:

                     (1) Request COSCOM provide a knowledgeable LNO with
            decision aithorl'@,y to 7th Engineer Brigade to define locations
            and scope of work for logistical bases duping fu@lupe operations.
            XVIII Abn Corps employed this system and it has worked very well.

                     (2) Chem lights are not available at LOC7 BASE E.
            Request these asse@12 be pushed forward immediately. Heapd that
            they are   til-I a+- '"OC, BASE A.  These one-, i-i,@i.feri'uly needed for,
            future operations.

                     ('@) "th '--nEEineer          has only received 10 EIRS and 4
ms to          MayeTiver         are receiving lot
            priority, while en4iiiee-,,         sT-,ppor.@linp-_   are getting none.

            We need these systems to keep Lis with supporting units.
