             SUBJECT: Operations Desert Shield, After Action Review, Blocl, 11



             1. (U) Our Blocl@ II comments are attached at enclosure 1. The
             files are also on the enclosed J@iti dis@, as requested in reference.
             2.  (\) The most significant observations deal with chemical
             defense equipment. The inability to get Mg alarms repaired in
             theater, and the lac[@. of a second battle dress overgarment could
             adversely affect a Ltnit's ability to function in a chemical
             environment,, Another- significant issue deals with the inability to
             live fire a full spectrum of munitions in 'training.      Our i5oldiE?r-s
             need to fire the munitions they will use in combat.
