                                 FACT SHEET

       SUBJECT: Old PB(Pyridostigmine Bromide) Changeout

       PURPOSEA To inform Commanders how to change old PB packages for new
       ones.


       1.   101*t Airborne Division(AASLT) was issued two pkglis PS tablets at
       time of deployment late Augutt/warly September L990. The life of PB out
       of refrigeration is 6 months.

       P-.  One of the two originally issued pkgs was consumed Jan 17-P-49 and
       was replaced with a new pkg. The other originally issued pkg needs to
       be replaced now.

       3.   Per XVIII ABN CORPS, units are to exchange old packages for now
       issue. Cld pkgs are to be turned into DMSD where now pkgs will be
       issued. Soldier* who have replaced damaged PB in the last three months
       should not draw new packages.

       4.   DMSD will maintain expired PB packages pending further XVIII ABN
       CORPS instructions.

       5.   Boldiers should write date down on new PS packages for future
       references. The newly issued PB pkgs come without a protective
       cardboard sleeve. In order to protect the new pkgs, individuals should
       retain their old cardboard sleeves.
