 C3I ISSUE NO. 5 Updating Static ID Tables for Contingency Hospitals and Air
 Transportable Hospitals Impossible

        DISCUSSION: Biometrics reporting for USAFE was interrupted due to inability of
        customer support personnel to add CONHOSPs to computer (Honeywell main frame)
        database. Experts at Gunter offered work arounds that proved to be
        unsuccessful. Portions of biometric governing directives were not available to
        assist untrained personnel. HQ USAFE/SGAMF and fixed MTFs in the vicinity were
        able to provide assistance and reports were then obtained.
       
        RECOMMENDATIONS: Recommend Gunter provide systems release to update USAFE's
        tables to include all ATHs and CONHOSPs to preclude late reporting. Recommend
        that all governing directives and guidelines be available at CONHOSPs to ease
        report preparation.
       
        ACTIONS REQUIRED: HQ USAFE work with local customer support offices to ensure
        computer system is updated to encompass all contingency requirements. USAFE
        should ensure all governing directives and guidelines are available at
        CONHOSPs.
       
        ACTIONS COMPLETED: USAFE is working with customer support offices to provide
        for smooth-transition in future contingencies.
