SUBJECT: MANNING AT ARPC AND AFRES 
 
BACKGROUND: Staff at HQ ARPC/SO and HQ AFRES/SG needs augmentation to ensure they are able 
to conduct business as usual along with meeting requirements of contingency. 
 
DISCUSSION: Working with volunteers and mobilizing selected and ready reservists in a 
contingency action does not relieve HQ staffs of normal activities. 
 
ACTION RECOMMENDED: Provision needs to be made for augmentation of HQ staff in advance of 
contingency needs. This miAht be accompli~hed through activation of IMAs or through 
detailing of unit personnel on active duty or as volunteers.
