                      POST-TANK DEBRIEF BY DCSOPS (LTG REINER)
                         ON BIOLOGICAL WARFARE (BW) DEFENSE
                     (FOCUSED PRINCIPALLY ON MEDICAL BW DEFENSE)

         1.  @ Debrief:

             a. @ (Army) Find out and ensure that the $140M requested
         monies for the Medical BW Defense Warfare Plan is from the
         Operation Desert Shield/Storm Supplemental Funding.

             b. (U) The Joint Chief said to press on with production of
         vaccines.

             C. (U) J-5 raised concerns that there will be ally
         requirements for vaccines. J-5 is tasked to coordinate with
         interagencies for these requirements and report back.

             d. (u) (Army) Provide a comprehensive briefing on the BW Plan
         before the end of FY91. Establish milestones.

             e. (U) MG Del ROSSO will need to continue to take the lead.
