                      (S) Prior August 1991, the only automatic chemical agent detection device in the
                Mzitiiie Corps was the M8AI, Automatic Chemical Alarm (ACA) and it had never been
                distributed to units. All the MB's were warehoused at Albany primarily because they
                contained a radioactive substance and the Marine Corps had not developed a tracking
                program. A secondary reason was that the M8AI could not detect mustard agents, a
