               belt and skirt west side of Burqan oil+4@elds

          1=,O TF Shepherd screened north to the 15 E-W grid line

          143ci TF Papa Bear received incom4ng while in attack position

          167%0 Z%/9 is north of 2nd obs@@acle/mine-Field belt, engaged with tanks

               and infantry. Incurred IC) friendly WIA'S. lst Tanks and 1/1 also

               engaged with Iraqi tanl,s, AF,C's, and infantry

              -TF Papa Bean collected over 1300 EPW's

   Iecisic:)n made to have TF Ripper isolate MEF objective A and not clear the

   .kirbase. with the exception of searching the Command Bunker.     It was a good

   Decision because in the Iraqi Bt-igade Comdr's CF,, the plans +or, the defense

     @,.Liwait City and plans for- a chemical attack were discovered.

              -TF Grizzly was ordered to displace to MEF A (Jaber Airbase) and

               clear it of enemy

              -TF Taro was still guarding MarCent east -Flank south of thL, 2nd

               obs@.acle/minefic-ld belt

              -TF XRay had been launched but returned to their assembly area due

               to en--my fire in and around LZ.
