          0830 Via RRS/RPV, TF Ripper, observed Iraqi armor battalion or KIA

               Missouri engaged. Iraqi -Forces fleeing.

          0700 TF Ripper presses the attack north.

          1300 1/5 breached unmarked mine+ield and encountered dug-in infantry in
               reverse slope defense.   Also, destroyed a T-72 and ZSU-'@3-4,

               :@d Tanks destroyed T55's.

          0750 TF Shepherd continued attack to NE, destroyed 10 APC (type 67.),

               captured 6 APC'S, tank main supply point, 3 T-62's, 2 APC'S, I STR

               and a truck.  Later in a second action, Shepherd destroyed 6

               tanl,s, 11 APC's and 5 truct-s

          I :,-10 Orders group issued FragO for seizure of MEF obj C. Plan was

               simple.  Enemy was attempting to escape west out of Kuwait City.

               Commanders intent was to prevent as many Iraqi's as possible from

               getting out and isolate MEF Dbj C.

               TF Ripper attack north to pinch o-F-F enemy's escape to west along

                         PL Green


               TF Shepherd cover east along Al Burgan/Al Magwa to east of KIA

                           vicinity PL Green

               TF Papa Sea attact, north in the center lagging behind as the

                            Division Reserve

                       assist in clearing/Mout ops
