(The Marine Liaisons at Fleet Hospital 6 and 47th Army Hospital in
Bahrain will make separate arrangements with the I MEF Casualty
Section to arrange for the proper movement of these items north to Al
Jubail for distribution to appropriate MSCS.) The SNCOIC/will also
have in his possession any notes created during the course of his stay
that would modify, contradict, or improve the stated policy for Marine
Hospital liaisons (enclosure (3)), for inclusion in the I HEF Casualty
Section's After Action Report.
ASU Bahrain: The two Marine Liaisons at the ASU will remain
until all Marine Hospital Liaisons from Fleet Hospital 6, the 47th
Army Hospital in Bahrain and the two USN hospital ships have departed
for H&SCO, I MEF at Al Jubail. When the ASU Marine Liaison Staff
NCOIC is certain that all Marine Liaisons and all Marine -patients have
been transported off the island of Bahrain and back to their units, he
will request transportation from the I MEF Casualty Office for return
transportation to Al lubail, K&SCO, I HEF for termination of their TAG
orders and return transportation to their permanent duty station. The
SNCOIC will report to the I MEF Casualty office, with'all official
documents/ records created by the liaison staff during their assigned
duty, catalogued by subject, date or name as appropriate. The
SNCOIC/will also have in his possession any notes created during the
course of his stay that would modify, contradict, or improve the
stated policy for Marine Hospital liaisons (enclosure (3)), for
,Iusion in the I MEF Casualty Section's After Action Report.

I MEF Casualty Office: The I MEF Casualty Office will be the
last to stand down. As the scope of operations diminish, the office
will be reduced to one Staff NCOIC and four clerks standing a regular
daily watch. Their responsibility will be to ensure the computerized
casualty data base is complete; to collect and catalogue all documents
from returning Marine Liaison teams; to ensure the After Action Report
on the operations of the I MEF Casualty Section is completed and final
reports are catalogued and turned in to the G-1, I MEF and to ensure
that all accountable Marine Corps Property is properly returned to the
H&$Co, Supply Office. At the completion of the above, the staff will
further be reduced to one SNCOIC and two clerks, who will then be
relieved of duty at an appropriate time by competent authority for
termination of TAD by H&SCO, I MEF and return transportion to their
permanent duty station.
