                    The S-3 established a MARLOG support plan In conjunction with
              MAG-16 Operations to shuttle aeronautical material between NAF
              Juball, the Commercial Port of Al Jubayl (location of the S.S.
              Curtiss) and Tanajib airfield.
                    With the    Input   from the Aviation Supply and Maintenance
              Departments, Operations developed a decontamination plan for
              aeronautical     material     prior   to    the I r  Induction     Into     the
              Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA).
                    Al I Departments submitted Marine Corps Lessons Learned System
              (MCLLS) I nput to the S-3 f or rev i ew, conso I I dat I on and f orward i ng.

                    During the month of February, the S-4 was Involved In numerous
              tasks that were part of the           larger mission to displace MALS
              concurrently with the MAG to be able to provide support for the I
              MEF ground forces.     These tasks    Included preparing material for C-
              130 loading, external        lifting  of ordnance, coordinating ground
              transportation using both commercial and tactical               trucks.      In
              addition to ensuring that all assets were moved by land or air,
              the section ensured that essentials such as food, ammunition,
              shelter, and water were provided for squadron personnel.
                    After three weeks of occupying the new location, the squadron
              was again planning for further displacement.          Essentially the same
              cycle was planned and had come to the step off phase before being
              stopped due to the quick conclusion of the war.               Retrograde to
              CONUS planning immediately commenced upon this decision.


                                    MORALE WELFARE & RECREATION

                    The MWR department was enhanced by the squadron's recreational
              tent that was relocated at Tanajib and continued to provide current
              Information through Cable News Network (CNN) News, and allowed the
              Marines to watch popular videos.       Further, the weight room from NAF
              Juball   was moved     to Tanajib     for   the Marines     recreation and
              exercise.
