              28 February         All Division offensive operations ceased at 0700, and units
                                  were inst-uctod to discontinue taking NAP and Cipro pills.
                                  llth Marines continued repositioning to consolidate and
                                  avoid hazardous ammunition and chemical dumps. Units
                                  continued to recover Iraqi equipment and ammunition. Plans
                                  were developed for the retrograde of ammunition to the
                                  Ammunition Supply Point at Mishab and for the recovery of
                                  ammunition left behind during the attack through Kuwait.
                                  Plans were also developed for the retrograde of the Ilth
                                  Marines on 4 March to the Division Support Area at Manifa
                                  Bay.

              0700: DIVISION INSTRUCTED ALL UNITS TO CEASE OFFENSIVE.-OPERATIONS.
