              a. Administration.

                  (1) Enemy Prisoner of War (EPW)/Dislocated Civilian (I)C)

                        (a) Bat@ier and search, diarm and tag EPWS. Sparc.,Vies
          -Df women will be conducted by medical -:-fl'icer.

                        (t,) All equipment, ie., clothing, food, water, gas
          masks, cracking utensils, will be left with the EPW. No war trophies
          will be taken.

                        (c) Collect medical supplies from EPWS. Excessive
          amounts -if food stuffs And medical supplies will be eva(:]-tated to tile
          Division Er,W collection pc-int/hc-ldinE] facility.

                        (.J) Provide emergency medical care as required.

                        (e) Hold EP)W/DC5 during periods when tactical
          situations or transportation availability dictates.

                        (f) In the event that E'PW/DCs must be held for more
          than 24 hours, a re,li-test fDr food shc,,AIJ be made to the S-4/G-4,
          EPW/DCs must be c-ffere---i MREs by the holding unit. Water should be
          requested through the units CSSE.

                        (g) Remains of E@)Ws while in captivity will be.
          processed in accordance with Graves Registration Procedures.
