Billeting tents were erected upon arrival working into the night under

ebruary and arrived seven hours later at which time erection of tents for
orking spaces commenced. Nonessential items were identified previously ana
tored at Jubail in anticipation of future Moves. The final load of carg@
rrived at 0300 on 18 February completing the third move ot the *quaaron in
ess than two months. After establishing of the squadron spaces at @OFIeSOMe
ove, the Logistics Department continued to provide information o(-i oasic
ervices such as food, water, and showers, as well as coordinating sucn
ngineering projects as electrical support, communications, and construction ot
rot*ctive berms around the billeting area. Noon and midnight meals were not
rovided by the field mess so, MRE's were requested and obtained daily. Two
ater tanks (potable and non-potable) were also provided for squadron use.
Combat readiness was again stressed when the weapons and chemical
rotective equipment were insp*cted; Cana injectors, Pyrodostigmine and tipro
abl*ts were distributed.
he S-4 began showing video tapes to squadron
era nightly, a move well received by all hands and highlighted by the
cr*ening of the 1991 Super Bowl.
With the ground war looming on the horizon, efforts to obtain equipment
ositioned at Mishab were steeped up leading to delivery on 24 February. As
he ground war progressed, plans were ad* to reposition MAG 26 to Al Jaber Air
ase. Kuwait with KMA 775 leading the :ove. However, due to changes in
actical developments, the move was postponed indefinitely.

Sequence of Events
I February 1991 HMA 775 continues to fly MEDEVAC Escort daily.
2 February 1991 At approximately 1840 (L), HMA 775 suitered itz
f-irst Class A Mishap. WR 711 with Major iugene
MCCARTHY and Captain Jonathan EDWARDS, crashed i
the Saudi Arabia desert during an emergency
REDEVAC conducted on NVG'S. Both pilots KIA kriv,
complete lose of airframe.
5 February 1991 At 1400 (L), Memorial services were hold at
OAF, Jubail Dining Facility for Major MCCA@Tii't
and Captain EDWARDS.
