               I have found no dereliction of duty nor malicious intent on
          the part of any soldier as a result of this investigation.      if
          friendly vehicles were engaged by friendlies then it           was
          attributable to the con-Fusion, the excitement, the "+og of war"
          and reaction of young soldiers to their first real contact with
          the enemy during the conduct of a tremendously difficult mission.
          Our soldiers have accomplished all we, as leaders, have asked of
          them. I'm proud to be among them.
