            (REPORTS) TO XVIII AIRBORNE CORPS FIELD SOP


            1. The PDS Report is a mandatory daily report to be submitted
            to the Corps G-1 via the telecommunications system, TACCS,
            secure FAX, secure voice, or courier. The initial PDS report
            will be submitted NLT N+S. Units that use an N-hour sequence
            greater than 18 hours will submit their initial PDS NLT N+12.
            The subsequent PDS reports will reflect the unit's current
            personnel status as of 0600 local and submitted NLT 1400 local.
            The report is divided into four parts; Part I - UNIT STRENGTH,
            Part II - ATTACHMENT, Part III - DETACHMENT, Part IV - REMARKS.
            Each line reflects a specific category of information by (o)-
            Officers, (W)-Warrant Officers, (E)-Enlisted, (C) Civilians,
            (T)-Totals, and (F) Females required to develop the personnel
            priority model. This form will be used for both the ACTUAL and
            EXERCISE PDS reports. The ACTUAL and EXERCISE reports will be
            submitted separately.

            2. PDS REPORT HEADING.

                a. The REPORT NUMBER will begin with 001 for the first
            report and will continue to be numbered consecutively (i.e.,
            001, 002, 003, etc.). If a corrected copy (or copies) of a PDS
            is submitted, the REPORT NUMBER will be followed by A, B, C
            etc. (i.e., 001A, 001B).

                    @DOFG -PREPARED ref lects the actual date and time group the
            report was prepared.

                C. FOR PERIOD ENDING reflects the DTG as of 0600 local
            time.

                d. UNIT identifies the name of the unit submitting the
            report.

                e. CLASSIFICATION of the PDS; CONFIDENTIAL or higher.

            3. PART I - UNIT STRENGTH: Lines in this part are:

                a. Column A - The UNIT column identifies the name of the
            unit(s) for the data in columns B thru K. Units will identify
            subordinate elements (i.e., division will identify brigades and
            division troops, and separate brigades will identify
            battalions).

                b. Column B - The REQ (required) column reflects the unit's
            required strength by MTOE.

                C. Column C - The ASGD (assigned) column reflects the total
            assigned strength by officers, warrant officers, enlisted, and
            totals.
