V/Vli (US) Corps Field Standing operating Procedures (U)
f. Spectacle service.
(1) spectacle service for units operating in a div'
will be provided by the optometry section of the DISCOM 4th
Battalion, medical Company.
(2) Spectacle service in the corps rear for non-di-
units will be provided by the servicing medical unit provide
level medical support which will forward a copy of the pati,
prescription to the supporting MEDSOM.
(3) In those cases where the division optometry se
cannot fill the requirement, the prescription will be oast,
supporting MEDSOM Battalion.
S. CLASS VIII SUPPLY SUPPORT TO FOREIGN MILITARY.
a. Medical Materiel Agreements exist between the US and
following countries.
(1) Canada. The agreement with Canadian Forces pr-
the provision of medical materiel support upon request, if a

Federal Republic of Germany have entered into agreement for
medical materiel support to be effective upon the outbreak
