                         P--00: Second division MLRS raid, conducted   from
                         Garry C)wen's sector
                15 Feb   Seven EPWs captured by various line troops    at
                         various times
                17 Feb   E and B Troops conduct zone reconnaissance    to the
                         17 and 20 E-W grid lines, respectively. B     Troop
                         is in the we$t, E Troop is in the east. B     uses
                         mortar smoke to screen, move across berm.     B Trp
                         engaged enemy op with indirect fires (155). C and
                         D Troop conduct a combined zone recon. C Troop
                         was in the east, D Troop was in the west.    C Troop
                         engages and destroys building and the squadron
                         identifies numerous bankers. Errors in
                         identifications occur, and road is identified as
                         a fire trench, Bradley's are identified as T-55's.
                         MAJ Hanson calls check fire on DPICM mission an
                         what turned out to be friendlies.
                18 Feb   E Troop conducts zone recon from berm to the 27
                         E-Q grid line. D Troop and ground troop bound
                         forward with good coordination. D Troop discovers
                         building with a large stockage of ammunition
                         inside. E Troop receives mortar fire and
                         artillery fire. E Troop fires up towers -from
                         which rounds appear to be adjusted. E Trp scouts
                         identity two enemy scout cars and adjusts
                         artillery fire to destroy vehicles. Air force A-
                         10s engage and destroy artillery units to the
                         north of E Troop. They identify approximately one
            hundred tubes. A Troop conducts zone recon in
                         western sector to 24 E-W grid line--cleat-s
                         numerous blinkers, obtains one,ltalinn AT mine and
                         one Soviet AP mine. Engaaes dismounts with
                         mortars: dismounts out of range
                PO-Feb   Task Force 1-5 Cav passes through 1-7 Cav to
                         conduct @-econ in force to the 27 E-W grid lin6.
                         4-5 ADA and'i-5 Cav lose first soldiers in
                         division to enemy. D Troop flies CPT Visor to 1-5
                         Cavl s elid station to assist in caring for WlAs.
                         2nd PLT/A Troop assists tf 1-5 with medic support.
                         2nd PLT/A Troop escorts Trp M-88 forward to
                         recover TF CEV
                24 Feb   04Q'O: Ground war i@ operation Desert Storm began.
                         Squadron remains in place as part of deceotion
                         plan.
                25 Feb   Two hundred twelve total EPWs captured across
                         squadron front at unrecorded times
                26 Feb   0620t 8 Troop engages and destroys wheeled vehicle
                         moving southwest in sector. B Troop captures six
