         APPENDIX I (CLASS 1) TO ANNEX D (SUPPLY) TO 1ST COSCOM OFORDER
         DESERT STORM

         1. (U) REFERENCE: FM 10-60 Subsistence Supply and Management in
         Theater of Operations

         2. (U) PURPOSE: To provide Class L support of Operation Desert
         Storm.


         3. CONCEPT OF OPERATIONS:

            a.         Unit distribution to DSA'S. 3rd ACR. and CSG/DSU's
         from logbases. Nondivisional units will use supply point
         distribution from their supporting CSG. Stockage levels DS-2 DOS.
         GS-5 DOS. Ration cycle will be MRE-MRE-MRE      Ration resupply will
         be every two days.
            b. #f) 507TH CSG TASK

                 (1) (U) PHASE I

                       (a) (U) Provide GS Class I support in sector until
         supported units displace.
                       (b) kg) Requisition 5 DOS for 113k personnel.
         (1.695,000) MRE meals (82 containers) from SUPCOM.TAMMC at Log Base
         Bravo. Containers will be held as Corps reserve unless directed by
         MMC to be used as operatiorral stocks.

                       (c) X) Prepare 15.000 cases of MRE's in CDS air
         delivery bundles for on call airdrop.
                 (2) J4) PHASE II

                       (a) (U) Displace GS Class I activity from present
         sector with 5 DOS of MRE's based on current supported population.
                       lb)  PK Relocate ton containers of reserve stock to
         LOGBASE CHARLIE on D Day to be used as austainment for units in the
         AA until SUPCOM resupply begins at approximately D+2. The
         remaining containers are to be moved into LOGBASE CHARLIE not
         later than D+10.

                       (c)  WI Provide automatic push packages to DSA'S.
         .3rd ACR, and CSO/DSU'g in the AA until G Day based on build up
         factor of 8000 per day for fourteen days.

                       (d) (U) Be prepared to rig push packages for sling
load delivery.
