                e. To enhance information security during the period
            Aug 90 to Feb 91, DSEC provided secure communication equipment
            (STU III) used by the 24 Reserve and Guard units mobilized at
            Fart Riley. The DSEC also conducted 31 staff assistance visits,
            and conducted 130 threat briefings to divisional and
            non-divisional units on topics such as SAEDA, OPSEC,
            COUNTER-TERRORISM, Equipment Recognition,.and Terrain
            Orientation to SWA.


                +. The automated systems security section prepared a
            generic accreditation packet +or ADP equipment deployed with the
            division.


                g. The availability a+ non-deployables enabled DSEC to
            accomplish the missions previously performed by the (32. In
            future contingencies, supplemental personnel must be available
            to DSEC much earlier in the emergency.

                h. Through the use of IMAs and non-deployables, DSEC
            accomplished its mission-essential tasks as required. Although
            two military members deployed with lst ID (M), the DSEC staff
            swelled from its original 5 civilians to include 6 IMAs and 9
            military non-deployables.
