              MEMORANDUM TO; Shifts


              FROK: MAJ BATE


              ,SUBJECT: SCUD ALERT NOTIFICATION PROCEDURE

              1. Each shift OIC/NCOIC is responsible for assuring that all
              subordinate units are notified of SCUD alert and proper MOP? level
              upon notification from MEDCOM.

              2. Notification to hospitals and billets will be by commercial
              phone, land line, and FM radio.

              S. Notification to 92nd Medical Battalion will be considered not-.ce
              to 134th, 336th, 17th, and 947th.

              4. In addition, each responsible shift OIC/NCOIC will inqltre all
              personnel in A-1-17 are notified, i.e., runner to all floors where
              persons reside, landline to guards etc.

              S. The attached sheet will be used effective irimedately and becnme a
              permanent record of incident occurence. This form will be signed by
              the OIC or       as the. case may be. Signing this form is a
              verification of its accuracy. The signatory will be held accountable
              for failure to comply with this procedure

              6. It cannot be emphasized, enough that proper and timely
              notification may prevent ia@iuries and loss of life.
