         MEMORANDUM FOR Commander, 244th Medical Group

         SUBJECT: Training/Operation Highlights for Week (3 MAR-9 MAR 91)


         1. 50th General Hospital

             a. Hosted meeting for EFMB pre-planning. Supplied manuals and
         study guides.

             b. NBC:

                  (1) Field trips to French and Swedish Hospitals to tour
         NBC decon sites.
                  (2) Sponsored a lecture by Dr. Heyndrickx on the treatment
         of chemical casualties during the Iran-Iraq war.

             c. Department of Nursing:

                  (1) Continued to provide litter team training..

                  (2) Courses were provided for 91C SQT.

                  (3) Seminars given on Critical Care Nursing.

         2.  92nd Medical Battalion

             a. Preparation for the EFEB physical training

             b. NBC decon team.

         3. 134th Medical Company (Ambulance)

             a. - Performed transfer and enroute patient care of patients
         with ambulances and ambulance buses as assigned to mission.

             b. Installed litter configurations into ambulance buses.

             C.   Conducted opportunity training on medical and NBC decon
         subjects.

             d.   2nd Platoon worked on site disestablishment at "Private
         Aviation Terminal" and "B Complex" at KKIA.
