          1. SITUATION


                   Enemy Forces.

                   (1) Port, route of marches, staging Areas, @ind tactical
          assembly areas where personnel can be expected to be subject to
          random, indiscriminate terrorist icts.

                   (2) Inhospitable terrain and remote locations will stress
          unit logistic systems in the staging areas and tactical assembly
          areas.


               b. Friendly Forces.

                    (1) VII Corps Forward currently coordinating TAA and
          logistical regltirements with ARCENT.

                    (2) 416th Engineer Command commands and contacts
          engineers in RCZ/COMMZ (unspecified area of operations.)

                    (3) 20th Engineer Brigade performing sustainment
          engineering and other engineer support of XVIII Airborne Corps.

          2. MISSION: On order, 7th Engineer Brigade conducts movement to
          TAA, sustainment engineering, and on order, supports offensive
          operations in support of VII Corps in Southwest Asia.

          a. EXECUTION:


              'k.
              I    Commander's Intent. Organize for sustainment operations
          that positions combat engineers to conduct mobility training.
          Conduct training and combat force improvements that focus on
          maximizing combat potential of engineers in support of offensive
          operations. Conserve critical and essential engineer and other
          equipment to facilitate maximum support of mobility mission in
          the of -Fc?nse.


              b. Concept of Operttion: Units deploy from ports of
          debarkcation to TAA's located in the VII Corps sector, and
          conduct sustainment operations and mobility trrining in the
 execute training plans
          with emphasis on individual and team NBC training, and mobility
          operations. The overall operation will be conducted in three
          ph.ises.

                   (1) Phase I (Movement to the TAA). Units will line @altl
          tracks ind engineer equipment on commercial transports ind convoy
          wheeled vehicles to a stiging/mirshalling area (STAMA) located
          along Tipline Road. Units will down load equipment at the STAMA
          and conduct tactical convoy to the TAA'S. This phase ends when
          unit reports closurl, of the TAA'S.
