         f.         Decontamination of Personal Effects.
                                    Porous       such as i:",i.
                    bracelets, necklaces and other items that can be
                    decontaminated, are inventoried on a D@ rorm 1076.
                              Items that can be decontaminated are soaked for
                    l@5 min. in a container of decontamination solution.

                    destructive nature decontamination solutions or no safe way
                    exists to de@-ontAminate*i-lems,(such as paper

                    completed listing all items that were destroyed.
                    (4)       Personal effects are monitored,using an M256
                    test kit or CAM equipment.
                    (5)      Repeat decontamination process as needed.
                    (6)      When personal effects are declared safe, they are
                    pllaced in a -@ip lock bag along with a copy of the DD 1076
                    and certificate of destruction.
                    (7)       Personal Effects are labeled as "Decontaminated
                    E@@fec-'s". List date of contamination. Type of
                    contamination. date of decontamination and method used'to
                    decontaminate remains.
                    18)       Personal effects bag is placed in -the human
                    remains pouch, and is secured to the remains.
