                    Victory Safety Bulletin 012 Safe Driving Techniques
        1. Recent v@iole accidental during wet   weather, have claimed
        the lives of 4 XVIXI Airborne Corps soldiers. Each accident
        occurred when the hardball (MSR Dodge) was wet from rain. The
        soldiers lost control of their vehicles and overturned.

        2. Paved roadways in the desert become very hazardous during and
        immediately after rainfall. During the d    season, a film of oil
        is created on the road surface. The rainris not absorbed due to
        the oil film and the result 4o hydropl @ ng of the vehicle tires.
        Hydro laning can cause very erratic control of a vehicle,
        especially when braking.

        3. Speed and inattentive driving when mix with wet Weather is a
        deadly combination. Practice safe driving habits. Drive to
        arrive alive.
