           MEMORANDUM F43R ARCENT HNS Cell

           SUBJECT;  Host Nation Support for New ASP


           1. Due to recent verbal and physical confrontations between host
           nation drivers delivering ammunition to the Corps ASP, and the
           continuous problem cpF these drivers smoking and Cooking within
           close proximity of these loaded ammunition trucks, we have a need
           for Host Nation law enforcement assets to be located within the
           ASP (UTM grid TV% 510650).

           2. These law enforcement assets must have jurisdiction over the
           Host Nation drivers, must be able to speak and understand
           English, must be available 24 hours a day, and must have a
           verified clearance to operate within the ASP-

           3. Anticipated requirements ar:e three personnel per shift (to
           include one break person) with communication and vehicle
           capability. Life support can be provided, if necessary, throunh
           Coordination with the 46th Support Group.

           4. This request isa in addition to our request dated 26 September
           1990.
