                  24 Feb H-lAour is 0400 hours.


             :L356 H+10 SEAD fired for Aviation Bde attack against
                  antenna complex, tank dismounts and line of bunkers.
                  AH-64s destroy two tanks, a blinker, and a truck with
                  dismounts.


             1615 H+I.O 2nd Bde begins ground demonstration, clears
                  minefield with mineplow@-, moves to PLs Belgium and
                  Holland. Copperhead destroys two tanks, ZSU 23-4.

             2353 H+;--@O Ist Cav i.s still CEN-rcom reserve, has 3 options-

                  1) follow VII Corps.

                  2) follow I (UK) AD.


                  3) move straight north.

                  25 Feb


             0709 H+27 Avn Bde lead elements on PL Missouri. Destroyed
             two tanks.


             0845 H+29 2nd Bde destroys 3 tanks by Copperhead,.

             1444 H+35 2nd Bde conducts feint on PLs Chicago and
             Missouri to probe for weaknesses in Iraqi defensive belt
             that would facilitate implementation of OPLA'iq Miles.



                      RESERVE/ATTACK (,'@'C,-28 Feb). 15t Cavalry is
             ARCENI' -reserve and then VII Corps reserve. The division
             positions to attack the RGFC.

                  2E, Feb


                  CG requests permission from ARCE7NT D/L@ to move due
             north to pursue and exploit retreating Iraqi Army.
             Permission denied.


             1000 H+54 Ist Cav Div attached to VII Corps. LTG Franks
             provides 2 optionsg

                  1) move through 3 AD, atk RGFC to Obj Denver.

                  2) move between 2 ACR and I UK, atk Tawakalna Div.
