            1920 - Two columns of armor heading south vicinity PT 7045 and
          PT 7834. A-10s are currently engaging.
          31 JANUARY 1991

          * 0532 - Demon 6 cancels his battalion rehearsal due to a lower
          than expected operational readiness rate. He has 52 operational
          tanks.


          * 0812 - 5-16 IN has two reporters at their BN TOC. One reporter
          is from TIME, and the other reporter is from GPI. Devil 3 called
          the SGS, who will send MPs to escort the reporters away.

            1000 - The reporters were escorted to the DMMC by the 5-16 IN
          LNO


          I FEBRUARY 1991


          * 0230 - The BBC reports that Reuters says 100 Iraqi tanks have
          been destroyed in and around Khafji. The town is under Saudi
          control.  50,000 - 60,000 Iraqi troops are reportedly massed
          along the Kuwaiti-Saudi border. A Spectre gunship with a crew of
          14 was shot down over Kuwait.
