            2130   Defiant X-Ray reports that a D7 dozer from D Company, 17
          Engineers has been stolen. The dozer was off-loaded and
          apparently "hot-wired" by the thief. The serial number is
          3ZDOO309. G-3 OPNS and the MPs have been notified.

            2305 - Dreadnaught requests a FUCHS chemical recon vehicle.
          This has been set up and two vehicles will be at the Dreadnaught
          TOC at 1000 hours.


          27 JANUARY 1991


            0724 - Defiant 6 reports that the dozer was taken from PS
          379233, not from the Division download site.

          * 0800 - Devil 6 will be at Division for dinner 271800JAN91.

          * 1030 - CPT Mahaffy, D Company, 17th Engineer, commander reports
          to the ADC(S) what happened to the missing bulldozer. He needs
          to call the 3rd Brigade about the incident and write a complete
          statement for Ist Brigade when he returns. Notified Defiant
          X-Ray to arrange this.

          * 1030 - All units were notified of the orders group meeting at
          1530 hours. Called 1-4 CAV via Danger X-Ray to try and get them
          to send a representative

          28 JANUARY 1991

          * 0630 - Crossing area commander meeting at DTAC (PS 491319) at
          1000 h6urs. Devil 5 and all personnel involved need to attend.
          ?'a - call the Chief of Staff

          * 0735 - MAJ Ochoa is at the BDE ALOC. He will leave shortly for
          the King Khalid Military City where the PX items are. He thinks
          he can arrange for pick up on 29 or 30 JAN 01. MAJ Barbour
          states that the replacements for 5-16 IN are arriving with M16AI
          rifles. All attempts to correct this deficiency have failed.
          He needs the XO's help. MAJ Ochoa has been briefed on the
          upcoming EPW mission.

          .* 1100 - CW2 Ellibee (CID) reports that the missing bulldozer is
          at NS 950390 vicinity the Tapline Road. Devil 3 sends 5-16 IN to
mediately.

          * 1650 - MAJ Van Dyke, BDE ENG, reports that the dozer at the
          above grid is a civilian dozer. It does not belong to D-17 EN.

          29 JANUARY 1991

          * 0300 - The changeover to the Corps variable remains
          unresolved. The new fill is incorrect. Although each brigade
          sub-unit is on the brigade net, we are not compatible nor
          communicating with Division on FM. Danger is aware of our
          problem. Danger SIGO gave us the wrong fill. The BSO left the
